Gameplay questions
What is Circlegame?
Circlegame is a free browser survival game played inside a white circle arena. You control a white triangle that automatically fires at the center, red ring enemies bounce around like billiard balls, and your own bullets turn red and become deadly to you after bouncing off the wall. The goal is to survive as many waves as you can and beat your high score.
Is Circlegame free to play?
Yes. Circlegame is completely free to play in your browser at circlegame.win. There is no download, no account and no payment. The game is supported by advertising.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Circlegame is an HTML5 canvas game that runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers. Open circlegame.win and play instantly.
Why did my own bullet kill me?
That is the core rule of Circlegame. A freshly fired bullet is white and can kill enemies. If it misses and hits the circle wall, it bounces back and turns red. A red bullet kills you instantly on contact. A red bullet that hits the wall a second time disappears.
How do I aim if shooting is automatic?
Your gun always points at the center of the circle, so your effective weapon is the invisible line between your ship and the center. You aim by positioning: read an enemy's straight path and stand where that path crosses your aim line, so the enemy walks into your bullet.
Controls & devices
How do I control my ship?
On desktop, move with WASD, the arrow keys, or by dragging with your mouse. On mobile, touch and drag anywhere — the ship follows your finger directly. Shooting is automatic: one bullet every 2 seconds, always aimed at the exact center of the circle.
Does Circlegame work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Circlegame is designed for both desktop and mobile browsers. Touch dragging works exactly like mouse dragging, and the layout adapts automatically to portrait and landscape screens.
Is there a virtual joystick on mobile?
No. The virtual joystick was removed so mobile and desktop play identically: your ship follows your finger or pointer directly, keeping the arena unobstructed on small screens.
Waves & scoring
How do enemies spawn and move?
Enemies spawn near the wall on the side opposite to you. Each spawn is announced one second in advance by a twinkling red warning dot. Once spawned, an enemy locks its direction toward where you were standing and flies in a straight line, bouncing off the wall like a billiard ball. Enemies never chase you — their paths are always predictable.
How often do new waves arrive?
The wave timer starts around 10 seconds and grows by about 2 seconds per wave, up to a 20-second maximum. Clear the arena and the countdown runs more than twice as fast, so aggressive players meet waves much sooner. Full curve on the Scoring & Waves page.
What happens if I don't kill enemies fast enough?
Waves arrive on a timer and enemies accumulate without limit — if you don't clear them, the arena keeps getting more crowded until survival becomes impossible. Wave 1 is a tutorial wave with a single enemy, and the wave timer pauses until you kill it.
How do I get a higher score?
Every kill is worth 100 points, so score is purely a function of kills. Farm the aim line, kill on the near side, never stand on your own rebound path, and clear before a wave lands. The full playbook is in Tips & Strategies.
How is my best score saved?
Your best score is saved automatically in your browser's local storage on your device. No account is needed. Note that clearing your browser data will reset your best score.
Technical & privacy
Can I play Circlegame offline?
Not yet. The game loads from circlegame.win on every visit, so an internet connection is required — though a running session uses very little bandwidth.
Which languages does Circlegame support?
The in-game interface supports 26 languages — English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Italian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Polish, Dutch, Bulgarian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Bengali and Urdu — with right-to-left support for Arabic and Urdu.
Why is the game lagging or running slowly?
Close other heavy tabs, disable aggressive battery-saver modes and enable hardware acceleration in your browser. Circlegame is a lightweight canvas game, so persistent lag is almost always caused by another tab, an extension or a very old browser.
Does Circlegame use cookies or collect personal data?
Circlegame itself stores only your language choice and high score locally. Third-party services — Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics and Google AdSense for advertising — may set cookies. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Who made Circlegame and how can I contact the developer?
Circlegame is an independent browser game by a solo developer. Feedback, bug reports and business inquiries are welcome at ydxworker@gmail.com. More background on the About page.
